Level One:

This is the preparatory stage, requiring two to three months. Most of the work in this stage is done by the Associational Missionary Strategist and a small team as they gather information and documents needed for the rest of the process. The Associational Missionary is assigned a mentor to assist him.

➣ Form a team comprised of the Associational Missionary Strategist, his ministry assistant, and one or two volunteers.
➣ Complete a demographic and statistical review.
➣ Review vision/mission statement
➣ Review constitution and bylaws
➣ Determine if value statement exists
➣ Complete values survey
➣ Compile brief history of association
➣ Make list of existing ministry groups
➣ Review budget and financial status
➣ Review social media, website and communications
➣ Seek clarity regarding legal matters
➣ Review entity relationships
➣ Review insurance
