This phase requires three to five months to complete.
➣ Establish a Strategic Planning Team.
➣ Acquire Executive Committee approval of the team and its process.
➣ Complete SCAN (Survey of Communities And Networks).
➣ Provide thirty-day prayer guide to all churches and church members and encourage the participation of each congregation and their members in the prayer emphasis.
➣ Establish SMART goals. Such goals are: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time Sensitive.
➣ Present strategy to Executive Committee and then to association for adoption.
